Environment & climate change

HomeOur workEnvironment & climate change

Climate change is one of the greatest injustices of our time, hitting hardest those who have contributed least to carbon emissions and are not responsible for ecological collapse. At the same time, environmental crimes such as illegal resource extraction, pollution, and the destruction of ecosystems continue unchecked, allowing powerful actors to profit while communities suffer.

These crises represent some of the most urgent and complex challenges facing the international legal system.

In a race against time, GLAN is working alongside affected communities to confront those driving the climate crisis and committing environmental harm for financial gain, and to hold them accountable before it’s too late.
