Abuses in value chains

HomeOur workAbuses in value chains

A value chain refers to the journey that a product or commodity takes, from its raw materials to the hands of the consumer. It covers all the people, processes, and systems involved along the way. Abuses in a products journey are often hidden from the consumer by those profiting – violations such as forced labour or the destruction of precious ecosystems.

GLAN is working to find innovative ways to challenge and address these types of violations, using the structures of the international legal system against those who seek to abuse them.
